Eternal Life = Knowing God and Jesus Christ

"And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent." (John 17:3 ESV)

"Know," though indicating mental apprehension of reality outside of oneself, indicates more than understanding facts; "know" indicates right relationship with the Creator.
