Call To Die

Then [Jesus] said to them all, "If anyone wants to come with Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life because of Me will save it. (Luke 9:23-24, HCSB)

Systematic Theology: God is the Sovereign Creator and Sustainer of All Things [10], and God Is Self-Existent

 God pre-existed the created order as the Creator must precede the creation. God isn’t brought into existence; God cannot fail to exist. [See Genesis 1:1; Exodus 3:14.]
